Stop the source agent and other project writers before packing. When multiple agents have sessions in a project, select one with desk pack --from=AGENT.

Desk runs locally and stores your packs on your machine. Install the target agent separately to launch it.

Cross-agent moves start a new conversation with handoff context. Source-native sessions remain archived; authentication and agent-specific settings need review. Read how moves work before your first move.
